India won the first T20I by 11 runs thanks to the exceptional bowling of debutant T Natarajan and harmonic substitute Yuzvendra Chahal. Both bowlers took three wickets. KL Rahul scored half-century and Ravindra Jadeja rocking score of 44 not out off just 23 balls. Jadeja hit 5 fours and a six.
Jadeja was hit at the helmet by Mitchell Starc Bouncer in the last over of India’s innings.
