IND vs AUS : Sore back makes Steve Smith to walk out of practice session

Australia’s term is over with injuries. Headlines have now been made on Steve Smith, who walked out of the team practice session at the Adelaide Oval on Tuesday, two days before the first Test match against India.

Smith is struggling with a constant pain while reaching down to pick up the ball. He was also late in Tuesday’s practice session and did not bat in the nets, instead going through a warm-up before prompting for support staff and feeling uncomfortable with the physio.

On the eve of the match, Smith plans to come out and practice tomorrow.

With David Warner out of the pink ball and being injured in the Test, Smith’s role at No. 4 becomes more important as Australia continues to deal with injuries within the team.
