IPL 2020 Awards: Who got Orange Cap, Purple Cap, Most Sixes, Power Player and Emerging Player
IPL 2020 Champion – Mumbai Indians
Rohit Sharma defended the Mumbai Indians for a unique fifth IPL title in Dubai on Tuesday, demolishing the Delhi Capitals at the summit with his superb batting and tactical cleverness. Rohit’s 68 off 51 balls saw an opponent climb with Mumbai Indians chasing a target of 157 runs in 18.4 overs.

Five IPL titles are sure to make Rohit the undisputed ‘Numero Uno’ player-cum-leader in the IPL Universe. This version was made more challenging by the COVID-19 epidemic and bi-bubbles endured by players.
Man of the Finals – Trent Boult

Trent Boult rose to the occasion in the IPL final against his former team. His early innings in the Delhi Capitals batting order put Mumbai Indians on top at the start of the game.
Emerging Players – Devdutt Padikkal

In a total of 15 games, Devdutt Padikkal of Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 473 runs including five fifties and 124.8 SR. Ishan Kishan received the award from Devdutt Padikkal.
Fairplay Awards – Mumbai Indians

Along with the winning trophy, the Mumbai Indians also bears the Fairplay Award. Captain Rohit Sharma comes to take the award.
Gamechanger – KL Rahul

Hardik Pandya comes to take the game changer of the season award from Kings XI Punjab captain KL Rahul.
Super-striker – Kieron Pollard

Mumbai Indians take one more award this season as Kirron Pollard won the Super-Striker of the season with the highest strike-rate of 191.42 this season.
Most Sixes – Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan of Mumbai Indians earned the maximum sixes award after scoring a total of 30 fours in 14 sixes this season.
Powerplayer – Trent Boult

Trent Boult has been superb throughout the season to take wickets in the Powerplay. He has claimed 15 wickets @ 6.8 eco and 3 maidens in powerplay.
Purple Cap – Kagiso Rabada

Delhi Capital’s Kagiso Rabada won the Purple Cap by topping the table with a total of 30 wickets at the end of IPL 2020.
Orange Cap – KL Rahul

Even though Kings XI Punjab were out of the IPL play-off race, However, KXIP captain KL Rahul most runs scorer (670 runs) through out the seasonand awarded as Orange Cap . “It’s nice to win the Orange Cap, but it would be nice if we progressed in the tournament. However I got to learn a lot about being the leader of this tournament,” he said.
Most Valuable Player – Jofra Archer
